Anchor D Guiding & Outfitting offers a horseback getaway for just about everyone, from guided half-day and all-day rides out of the ranch and into the high ridges of Kananaskis Country, to multi-day adventure and hunting trips into the Alberta Rockies. Guests of Anchor D enjoy breathtaking scenery and delicious food and ride top quality horses matched to suit each rider's ability. Our High Mountain Wilderness Camp is located at 6200 feet elevation and is completely surrounded by mountains. There are several mountain lakes to ride to that are stocked with cutthroat trout and your guides can scout out a high mountain pass at 8,000 feet elevation where you gaze across several mountain ranges to the Continental Divide.
