Description
The Omaha Community Playhouse is the largest community theatre in the United States. We were founded in 1924 with the purpose of raising the drama from a purely amusement enterprise into an eductional, cultural force.
Tours of our facility include going on stage in both of our theatres, visiting the costume shop where our costumes are designed and created, the scene shop where our scenery is built and painted, and the other back stage areas.

The Omaha Community Playhouse is the largest community theatre in the United States. We were founded in 1924 with the purpose of raising the drama from a purely amusement enterprise into an eductional, cultural force.
We currently mount ten Broadway-quality productions per season in our two theatres. We also present three special events throughout the year. Our annual production of "A Christmas Carol" is in its 31st year and is a nationally known production.
