Description Visit an Ice Age museum where real mammoth fossils are exhibited as they were found! Learn about the discovery of this ancient sinkhole, and the variety of animals trapped here 26,000 years ago. Experience science as it happens. Guided tours, Ice Age exhibit hall, hands-on activities for kids and adults. Museum hosts a Jr. Paleontologist Program (advanced reservations required), teaching the young scientist in your family about fossil excavation, bone identification, and field mapping. Call or email for information.
Open year round with 30 minute guided tours. Admission charged.
